Valentine's Meeting - "Seasonings for a Happy Marriage"

Everyone knows it is the ingredients that go into the recipe that makes it turn out good. Roxanne will share three important ingredients that are "must haves" in a happy marriage. Based on her 44 years of experience as a wife, mother and grandmother, she will share from her heart what she believes has helped her to have a happy marriage.

Roxanne was born and raised in DeLand and is a graduate of DeLand High School. She has been happily married to Jerry, her high school sweetheart, for 44 years. They are the parents of twins, Tami and Randy, who have blessed them with five wonderful grandchildren. She attended Eastern Kentucky University and the University of Central Florida and holds degrees in Elementary Education and Administration/Supervision. She taught at the elementary level and served as principal at both the elementary and middle school level. She and Jerry are retired and enjoy traveling in their RV and vacationing in the NE Georgia mountains. Roxanne believes it is their strong relationship with Christ that has blessed Jerry and her with a long and happy marriage.

Operation Christmas Child - The Power of a Simple Gift

At our last meeting we assembled Operation Christmas Child boxes, and we rocked out 47 boxes! Way to go ladies! Thank you for bringing in all the wonderful items so these children can have a Christmas and experience the love of Christ!

Fire Station Playdate

Our next Playdate is this Friday, November 5th! We'll be visiting Fire Station 81 with the City of DeLand. The fire station is on the corner or Howry and Florida.

We will start our tour at 10am, so please arrive a few minutes early so we can all gather together before the tour starts.

Hi Ladies! Just a reminder that we'll meet tomorrow, Wednesday - 10/20, for a playdate at Veteran's Memorial Park in Orange City. AKA - "The Splash Pad Park"

It's at the corner of 17-92 and Blue Springs Ave.

We'll meet at 9:30 - come late, or stay as long as can...it'll be a good time!

Fun, Free Outing

Deltona Alliance Church is hosting their annual Fall Festival this Saturday, October 9 from 10am - 3pm. There are activities for children of all ages, great door prize drawings and 50 cent hot dogs, chips and sodas.
